Instructional Integration Of The Six Thinking Hats: A Study Of Efl Teacher Practices In Yemeni Secondary Schools

Abstract
This study investigates the instructional integration of Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats strategy among EFL teachers in Yemeni secondary schools. It aims to identify the extent to which these teachers practice this strategy in their classrooms and the challenges they face. Using a descriptive survey design, data were collected from 96 EFL teachers in private secondary schools. The findings reveal a moderate level of integration, highlighting the need for specialized professional development to enhance critical and creative thinking in English language pedagogy.
