Models Of Aftercare For Released Prisoners In Arab Countries

Abstract

The research paper aims to uncover the most significant aftercare models in Arab countries by presenting the following Arab experiences: Algerian, Egyptian, and Lebanese. It explores various service programs they offer, analyzes them, and identifies the challenges they face. The findings indicate that these programs vary between governmental efforts, where the state provides support to released individuals ensuring psychological and social care, and non-governmental initiatives, such as those provided by civil society organizations.
