The Implementation Of A Reduced Working Time System As A Means Of Protecting Workers’ Safety

Abstract

The establishment of working hours is a fundamental aspect in ensuring stability within employment relationship. On this matter, labour law allows collective agreements and conventions to include provisions that adjust working hours other than those normally applied, particularly when such adjustments are required by specific circumstances. A reduced working time system is not merely a decrease in the duration of work. It also contributes to enhancing workers’ occupational safety by reducing exposure to risks and fatigue. In doing so, it helps maintain a balance between the interests of the employer and those of the employees. تحديد مدة العمل من أجل الاستقرار في علاقات العمل لهذا يسمح قانون العمل للاتفاقيات و الاتفاقات الجماعية الموافقة على أحكام لتغيير وقت العمل لمدد أخرى غير التي تطبق في الظروف العادية ذلك أن التخفيض قد تفرضه الضرورة. نظام ساعات عمل مخفضة ليس مجرد تقليل مدة العمل بل يقوم بتعزيز السلامة المهنية للعامل من الخطر و الإجهاد لضمان التوازن بين الهيئة المستخدمة و مصلحة العمال.
