الملخص
ظهرت حركة الشيخ عثمان دان فوديو الإصلاحية في نيجيريا خلال النصف الثاني من القرن الثامن عشر والنصف الأول من القرن التاسع عشر الميلاديين. بهدف محاربة الخرافات والبدع التي ألحقت بالإسلام هناك. وإقامة دولة إسلامية في شمال نيجيريا. لذلك أردنا في موضوعنا هذا إزاحة الغطاء عن تاريخ الحركة، التي أحيت الإسلام الصحيح الخالي من البدع في نيجيريا خاص وفي غرب إفريقيا عامة توصلنا من خلال هذه الدراسة إلى أن حركة الشيخ عثمان تمكنت من إصلاح الأوضاع الدينية،والسياسية ولاقتصادية،والاجتماعية لسكان شمال غرب نيجيريا في إطار الكيان السياسي الجديد الذي تم تشكي. و حافظت على انتمائها للحضارة . الإسلامية ، وتخليص مجتمعات غرب إفريقيا من الوثنية . Sheikh Osman dan Fodio's reformist movement emerged in Nigeria during the second half of the 18th century and the first half of the 19th century AD, aiming to combat superstitious beliefs and innovations added to Islam there, and to establish an Islamic state in Northern Nigeria. Therefore, this paper seeks to shed light on the history of this movement, which revived authentic Islam, free from innovations, particularly in Nigeria and generally in West Africa. Through this study, we concluded that Sheikh Usman's movement succeeded in reforming the religious, political, economic, and social conditions for the people of northwest Nigeria within the newly formed political entity.It also maintained its affiliation with Islamic civilization and liberated West African societies from paganism.
