الملخص
ملخص: إن دوام استغفار النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وتوبته، مع إكثاره من ذلك، وإقسامه عليه؛ أمرٌ ملفتٌ، يدعو للبحث والتنقيب حول أسبابه، خاصة وقد عُلم أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم غُفر له ما تقدَّم من ذنبه وما تأخر، وقد خلص البحث إلى نتائج عديدة، منها: أن عصمة الأنبياء لا تشمل الصغائر التي لا تزري بمناصبهم، وأن من أسباب استغفار النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وتوبته أن بيبين للناس عدم جواز الاحتجاج بالقدر على المعاصي، وأن الأنبياء لا يعلمون من الغيب إلا ما أطلعهم الله عليه. Abstract: The Prophet’s constant seeking of forgiveness and repentance, along with his frequent repetition of this and his swearing to it, is a striking matter that calls for research and investigation into its causes, especially since it is known that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was forgiven for his past and future sins. The research has reached many conclusions, including: that the infallibility of the prophets does not include minor sins that do not detract from their positions, and that among the reasons for the Prophet’s seeking forgiveness and repentance, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was to explain to people the impermissibility of using predestination as an excuse for sins, and that the prophets do not know of the unseen except what Allah has informed them of.
