الملخص
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على مرتكز أساس مما تقوم عليها الرحلة في بناءها، والمتمثل في مستعمل العجيب والغريب، هذا المستعمل الذي يسعى إليه الرحالة في كتاباتهم، لإدراكهم لما لذلك التوظيف من أهمية على النص في إعطاءه الذوق والجمال وحسن البيان، وهو سعي عمد إليه الكاتب، ليأتينا بنص رحلته إلى السنغال، وقد زج فيه من العجائبي ما اقتضاه السرد، لتكون لنا معه قراءة عنيت بتتبع آثار العجائبي فيه، وإبراز دوره كعنصر تحول فني وبياني داخل السرد. This study aims to shed light on a fundamental pillar upon which the travelogue's structure is built, namely, the wondrous and strange subject matter. This subject matter is sought after by travelers in their writings, as they realize the importance of its employment in giving the text flavor, beauty, and eloquence of expression. This is an endeavor that the author deliberately undertook in his travelogue to Senegal, where he incorporated the wondrous elements that the narrative required. This allowed us to conduct a reading concerned with tracing the effects of the wondrous within it, and highlighting its role as an element of artistic and rhetorical transformation within the narrative
