The Role Of Digitalization As An Effective Mechanism In Improving The Financial Performance Of The Public Treasury In The Province Of Tiaret.

Abstract
This study examines the impact of digitalization on improving the financial performance of the public treasury in the Tiaret Province. A descriptive and descriptive-analytical approach was adopted using a questionnaire administered to public treasury employees, with data analyzed through SPSS to test the study hypotheses. The findings indicate a statistically significant effect of digitalization on financial performance, as technological infrastructure, financial information systems, human resource digital competence, and digital governance contribute to enhancing efficiency, reducing financial errors, and strengthening transparency and control. Digital governance emerged as the most influential dimension. The study concludes that successful digital transformation requires not only adequate technological infrastructure but also the integration of qualified human resources and effective governance systems to ensure sustainable financial performance and informed decision-making.
