This study provides a comprehensive evaluation of the quality of explanatory and predictive capabilities of traditional statistical approaches against advanced artifitial intelligence tools in assessing the factors of purchaissing decisions. It contrasts a multiple regression model for its interpretability and clear identification with a Random Forest as an AI tools recognized for its ability to capture non linears and complex data patterns. Using a meduim size dataset with 164 observations. The analysis try to highlight testing both models MR and RF to proof accurancy and robustness. As a final results this study demonstrate that MR model does not lose its ability to explain variables in the case of medium size samples, also it can be fundamentaly relied for future predictions. Conversely, when comparated whith AI tools (RF), it became evident that the AI generated model loses statistical credibility in its explanatory power, so the AI model does not exhibit the high predictive capacity that it typically demonstrates when applied to large datasets.
