In recent decades, the world has witnessed a profound transformation in the nature of security threats facing states and societies, security challenge are no longer confined to traditional interstate wars; rather, they have expanded to include asymmetric dimensions such as terrorism, organized crime, cyberattacks, health crises, environmental disasters, and economic challenges, this transformation has led to the emergence of the concept of comprehensive and multidimensional security, which goes beyond military power to encompass economic, health, environmental, social, and technological dimensions within a strategic framework focused on prevention and risk management. The importance of studying Asymmetric Threats lies in the fact that they pose complex challenges to national security, as they are transnational, multidimensional, and rapidly evolving, making effective responses difficult without scientific understanding and integrated strategies, moreover, addressing these threats requires regional and international cooperation, the use of advanced technologies, and the adoption of flexible and comprehensive policies aimed at protecting individuals, society, and the state alike, therefore, research in this field is essential for developing national and regional strategies capable of effectively and efficiently confronting future security challenges.
