الملخص
تندرج زيارة نابليون الثالث إلى الجزائر سنة 1865م في إطار مشروع "المملكة العربية" الذي حاول تطبيقه في الجزائر، إلا أنه باء بالفشل باعتباره محاولة جمع بين المتناقضات، وما يهمنا في هذا الحدث هو وصف القطاع الوهراني خلال هذه الزيارة القصيرة، وكيف صورت المناطق وساكنتها، وما هي النقاط التي ركز عليها هذا الكتاب في تلميع النموذج الاستيطاني وتصوير الحياة العامة للمعمرين وتفاعلهم مع أراضي الجزائر، وهو ما سنحاول التطرق له في مداخلتنا الموسومة ب"تفاصيل رحلة نابليون الثالث إلى الجزائر-القطاع الوهراني نموذجا- من خلال مصدر فرنسي وهو:René de Saint-Félix, Voyage de s.m Napoleon 3 en Algérie, grande librairie Napoléonienne, Paris, 1865, 241 pages. وتأتي أهمية هذا الكتاب كونه يتضمن رسائل وتقارير رسمية استشهد بها المؤلف في كتابه وهو ما يعطيه أهمية إلا أنه في نفس الوقت لا يخلو من الذاتية. ABSTRACT : Napoleon III’s visit to Algeria in 1865 falls within the framework of the “Arab Kingdom” project that he attempted to implement in Algeria; however, this project ultimately failed, as it represented an attempt to reconcile contradictory elements. What concerns us in this event is the description of the Oran sector during this short visit, the way the regions and their inhabitants were portrayed, and the aspects on which this book focused in polishing the colonial settlement model and depicting the public life of the settlers and their interaction with Algerian lands. These issues constitute the core of our contribution entitled “Details of Napoleon III’s Journey to Algeria – The Oran Sector as a Case Study”, based on a French source, namely: René de Saint-Félix, Voyage de s.m Napoleon 3 en Algérie, grande librairie Napoléonienne, Paris, 1865, 241 pages. The importance of this book lies in the fact that it includes official letters and reports cited by the author, which enhances its historical value; nevertheless, it is not devoid of subjectivity.
