الملخص
- ملخص: يتناول هذا المقال "بلاد حمزة" –إقليم البويرة حاليا- من خلال نوعين من المصادر: أولاهما المصادر الجغرافية، وثانيهما مصادر التاريخ العام. هذا، وقد تطرق النوع الأول من المصادر (أي الكتب الجغرافية) إلى موقع بلاد حمزة وبنائها وسكانها... كما بيّن الرقعة التي تتوزع عليها هذه المنطقة. وفي المقابل ذكرت كتب التاريخ العام عدّة أحداث سياسية وعسكرية هامة كانت بلاد حمزة مسرحا لها. وكل ذلك إنما يعكس أهمية هذه المنطقة وإسهامها المتميز في تاريخ الغرب الاسلامي. Abstract; This study concerns the current region of Bouira, called during the medieval period "Bilad (country) of Hamza". It approaches it through two types of documents: geographical sources, as well as old books of general history. Also, the first sources (namely the books of geography) bring clarifications concerning the old location of the ancient city of Hamza, its construction, and its inhabitants... as well as its extent, its limits and its various geographical characteristics. . On the other hand, the general history books mention several important political and military events of which the country of Hamzah was the scene. All of this reflects the importance of this region and its distinguished contribution to the history of the Muslim West.
