التقييم الأورطوفوني لحالة مشخصة باستسقاء دماغ: دراسة حالة Speech And Language Evaluation Of A Patient Diagnosed With Hydrocephalus: A Case Study

الملخص

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على أهمية التقييم الأورطوفوني المتعدد الأبعاد في حالة مشخصة طبيًا باستسقاء دماغي ذو ضغط طبيعي، مع وجود اضطرابات مصاحبة تمثلت في ضعف سمعي متوسط الدرجة، اضطراب في التوازن الحركي، تم الاعتماد في التشخيص الأورطوفوني على الميزانية الاورطوفونية، حيث استُخدمت مجموعة من الأدوات أهمها: المقابلة الإكلينيكية، الملاحظة المباشرة والاختبار الكبير (OJL) لتقييم القدرات العقلية، إلى جانب الاستفادة من التقارير الطبية كمصدر داعم للتحليل والتفسير. أظهرت نتائج التقييم وجود اضطراب لغوي ملحوظ مع اضطرابات في الوظائف المعرفية الأخرى، وهو ما يعكس تعقيد الحالة ويبرز أهمية الدور الذي يلعبه الأخصائي الأورطوفوني في تحديد طبيعة الاضطرابات بدقة، ووضع خطة تكفل وتأهيل مناسبة تراعي التداخلات العصبية والسمعية والحركية. This study aimed to highlight the importance of a multidimensional speech and language assessment in a medically diagnosed case of normal-pressure hydrocephalus, accompanied by moderate hearing loss and motor balance disorder. The diagnostic process relied on the speech and language balance framework, employing tools such as the clinical interview, direct observation, and the comprehensive OJL test for cognitive evaluation, alongside medical reports as supportive data. The results revealed a marked language disorder with associated cognitive impairments, reflecting the complexity of the case. These findings underscore the essential role of the speech-language pathologist in accurately identifying the nature of the disorders and designing an appropriate rehabilitation plan that integrates neurological, auditory, and motor dimensions.
