The purpose of manufacturing a composite material is to take advantage of the recognized properties of each component in order to build one that will be better suited to certain applications. A composite is a material that tries to combine the properties of its components (generally a polymer matrix and reinforcement) to improve certain characteristics such as breaking strength, or rigidity, for composites for mechanical uses. Previously, composite materials were most often thermoplastic or thermosetting matrices reinforced with carbon fibers, glass ... However, in recent years, composite materials reinforced with natural fibers have attracted the attention of researchers because they could be an effective solution to solve the problems of environment, biodegradability and oil depletion. This review paper is mostly an introduction to the description of composite materials with vegetable reinforcements.
