الملخص
تعكف هذه الورقية البحثية على استتباع مقومات الفكر الرحلاتي في جزائر العصر الوسيط، ومعاينة منطلقاته وأسسه، والوقوف على طبيعة الروافد الثقافية التي تُغذيه ومشاربه المتلونة التي تطعمه. كما تسعى لإبراز نماذج عن مسارات حراكه، وتحسّس موقعه في تدوين الرواية التاريخية التي تحتفظ بتاريخ الجزائر في العصر الوسيط، هذا من جهة. ومن زاوية ثانية، تسلط الضوء على مجريات تاريخ الفترة الانتقالية بين العصرين المؤطريْن لتاريخ الجزائر في حقبتين مِفصليتين وهما المغرب الأوسط في العهد الوسيط وجزائر العصر العثماني، سعيا وراء تحديد مؤثرات النهضة الرحلاتية ونشاطها بالحقبة الأولى في تبلور الفكر الرحلاتي بالحقبة الموالية، ومعاينة مظاهر تكاملية الجهد الرحلاتي بالحقبتين في تدوين تاريخ الجزائر والاحتفاظ برواياته. وقد توسلنا في مسار انجاز هذه الدراسة بالمنهجين الوصفي والتحليلي بشكل أساس لمعالجة إشكاليتها المطروحة ونسج مقارباتها، في ضوء ما احتفظت به لنا المادة المصدرية من أخبار ورؤى. This research paper endeavors to trace the constituent elements of travel thought in Medieval Algeria, examining its origins and foundations, as well as the cultural sources that nourished it and the diverse influences that enriched its development. It also seeks to highlight prominent models of its trajectories and to assess its role in shaping the historical narrative that has preserved accounts of Algeria during the medieval period. From another perspective, the study sheds light on the historical dynamics of the transitional phase between two pivotal epochs in Algerian history—namely, the medieval era and the Ottoman period—in an effort to identify the impact of medieval travel activity on the formation of travel thought in the subsequent period. Furthermore, it explores the complementary aspects of travel writing across the two eras in documenting Algeria’s history and safeguarding its narratives. In conducting this study, we have primarily employed both descriptive and analytical methodologies to address the central research problem and to weave its comparative insights, drawing upon the reports and perspectives preserved in the source materials.
