Since the emergence of human consciousness and its early understanding of reality, humans have sought to control the course of events and shape them according to their desires. Time, therefore, became a profound cosmological and symbolic concept that accompanied this awareness from its inception. As a result, a mythological perception of time developed—one that gave rise to the notion of circular time. Unlike the linear conception of time embraced by religious doctrines, which assumes a straight path leading to a definitive end, circular time is founded on the idea of life’s recurring cycle. In this view, there is no absolute end point, but rather a continuous sequence of events and transformations—repeating through death and rebirth, loss and renewal, and the ongoing cycle of the cosmos.
