الملخص
This intervention aims to address the issue of the presence of contemporary political reality in Algerian contemporary theatrical writing. We use the play "The Fugitive" by Tahar Wattar as a model for analysis since it contains within its essence experiences from the current historical and social context. It reflects its contrasting paradoxes through events and characters inspired by reality, forming the thematic core of this theatrical work. Without neglecting to mention the significant artistic backgrounds that have emerged from engaging with and imaginatively representing the present, enriching the creative uniqueness of the text.
