The Role Of Training In Reducing Workplace Accidents /an Analytical Study At The High Plateaus Mills Complex – Setif

Authors : Belgherbi Salim .

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of training in reducing workplace accidents at the Upper Plateaus Flour Mills Complex in Sétif, by examining the current status of training and occupational incidents within the complex, and by identifying their interrelationship through the evaluation of select occupational accident indicators predicated on training efficacy. The results demonstrate that the Upper Plateaus Flour Mills Complex possesses a training strategy and implements procedures designed to mitigate workplace accidents; nevertheless, these measures do not fully satisfy the complex's requirements for their sufficient reduction. Furthermore, the findings reveal a robust correlation between the quality of specialized training and the diminution of occupational accident rates, with the study culminating in a set of recommendations, including the imperative to cultivate continuous and effective training strategies that guarantee the attenuation of workplace accident risks and the bolstering of occupational safety standards within the complex.
