Renewable Energy And Energy Security In Brics Countries

Abstract
This study examines the impact of renewable energy on energy security in BRICS countries from 2015 - 2024, considering economic, political, and environmental challenges. These nations, rich in natural resources, play a key role in the global energy landscape. Using a descriptive-analytical approach, the study explores how renewable energy contributes to energy security. The findings show that China and India have improved energy security through renewable expansion, while Russia still relies heavily on fossil fuels. The study highlights the need for greater investment in clean energy to enhance sustainability, reduce market risks, and support a more resilient and secure energy future for BRICS countries.
