Social Change And Cyberspace Patterns Of Social Change Across The Virtual Space Of Algerian Youth.

Abstract
The objective of this research paper is to identify patterns of social change in Algerian youth influenced by virtual space technology. This encompasses the social media platforms they frequent, the dialogues and interactions they engage in, the values they acquire through this digital space, and the cultures they abandon. A descriptive survey method was employed on a sample of Master's students in the Department of Media and Communication Sciences at Khemis Miliana University, with data and information being collected via an electronic questionnaire. The study's findings suggest that virtual space exerts a considerable influence on young people and their perception of it. This phenomenon is compounded by the proliferation of social media platforms and the incessant emergence of novel technologies, leading to a state of technological dependency among individuals. key words: Social change; Virtual space; Social Media; Face book.
