الملخص
الملخص : تسلط هذه الدراسة الضوء على يعض الجوانب المتعلقة بشخصية نور الدين محمود والمتمثلة بالورع والحزم والتي كان لها دور واضح في تكوين شخصيته وأثرها في التعامل مع الأوضاع الداخلية، ومع خصومه وأعدائه من الصليبيين، فقد أظهرت الدراسة مدى التزام نور الدين بأداء العبادات وتمسكه بأحكام الشريعة الإسلامية واتخاذها منطلقا لأفعاله وأقواله وتحركاته المختلفة وتطبيق ذلك على أرض الواقع. وقد هدفت الدراسة إلى إظهار التميُّز الذي تمتع به نور الدين على غيره من الأمراء في عصره، وأحابت عن أسئلة الدراسة والمتعلقة بشخصية نور الدين مثل: ما أثر الورع في تكوين شخصية نور الدين محمود؟ ، وكيف أثر الحزم في قرار نور الدين محمود في توحيد بيته الداخلي؟ ، وما أثر ورعه في اقتداء الناس به؟، وما أثر ورعه في إشاعة الطمأنينة بين الناس؟، وما أثر ورعه وحزمه في مجابهة الصليبيين؟، كل هذه التساؤلات أجابت عنها الدراسة من خلال الأدلة والشواهد التاريخية التي استنبطت من المصادر ذات العلاقة. Abstract : This study sheds light on certain aspects of the personality of Nur al-Din Mahmoud, particularly his piety and resolve, which played a significant role in shaping his character and influencing his responses to internal affairs as well as interactions with his rivals and Crusader enemies. The study highlights Nur al-Din’s deep commitment to performing religious rituals and adherence to Islamic Sharia law, using it as the foundation for his actions, speech, and movements, and implementing these principles in real-life situations. The study aims to demonstrate the distinction Nur al-Din enjoyed compared to other princes of his era. It addresses several research questions related to his character, such as: What impact did piety have on shaping Nur al-Din Mahmoud’s personality? How did his resoluteness influence his decision to unify his internal domain? In what ways did his piety encourage others to emulate him? How did his piety foster a sense of security among the people? And how did both his piety and firmness contribute to confronting the Crusaders? These questions are answered through historical evidence and sources
