Digital Addiction Among Youth: A Perspective On The Motivations And Drawbacks Of Usage

Abstract
Our world is witnessing a great increase in dependence on digital technology, especially with the beginning of the 21st century, where a new reality of my services has emerged thanks to what has been made available by the World Wide Web, and the interactive, participatory services it provided with very modern electronic templates, bypassing the traditional methods that are constantly fading, leaving room for faster and better digital technology in type, sound and image, the latter soon took over the minds of individuals and paralyzed their thinking to the point of obsession and addiction. The transformation from the traditional addiction, which is based on the use of drugs of all kinds, including opium, heroin, and cocaine, to an addiction and a drug that is more deadly and dangerous. It is the digital addiction that baffled specialists and educators, and they are often looking for the best way to save the fragile group of children. Children or teenagers from this new drug, what is the truth about this addiction? From here we will try in this research paper; Shedding light on the phenomenon of digital addiction among young people, with the aim of identifying it and highlighting its most important motives and the effects it has on children and adolescents in particular. ملخص: يشهد عالمنا تنامي كبير للاعتماد على التكنولوجيا الرقمية خاصة مع بداية القرن21، حيث ظهر واقع خدماتي جديد بفضل ما أتاحته الشبكة العنكبوتية، وما وفرته من خدمات تفاعلية، تشاركية بقوالب إلكترونية جد حديثة، متجاوزة بذلك الأساليب التقليدية التي تتلاشى باستمرار تاركة المجال لتكنولوجيا رقمية أسرع وأجود في النوع والصوت والصورة، هذه الاخيرة ما لبثت أن سيطرت على عقول الافراد وشلت تفكيرهم الى درجة الهوس والادمان ، فكان التحول من الإدمان التقليدي الذي أساسه تعاطي المخدرات بكل أنوعها من افيون وهيروين وكوكايين الى إدمان ومخدر اشد فتكا وخطرا، الا وهو الإدمان الرقمي الذي حير المختصين والمربين، وهم في الغالب يبحثون عن السبيل الأمثل لإنقاذ الفئة الهشة من الابناء؛ أطفالا كانوا او مراهقين من هذا المخدر الجديد ، فما حقيقة هذا الادمان ؟ من هنا سنحاول في هذه الورقة البحثية؛ تسليط الضوء على ظاهرة الإدمان الرقمي لدى الشباب بهدف تحديده وإبراز أهم دوافعه والآثار التي يخلفها على الأطفال والمراهقين خاصة.
