Abstract

This article goes beyond the realms of language study to inquire into the profound impact of culture on the actions of learners as they start to acquire a new tongue. Central to this work is the intriguing investigation of "otherness" within the framework of FL teaching, as well as the ever-changing process of identity construction. Therefore, this article's goal is to provide an interpretation of how cultural factors impact and transform the ways in which learners interact, view the world, and grow. Through an examination of cultural influence, this paper seeks to shed light on the metamorphosis that students undergo as they go from self-discovery to a full appreciation of "otherness."
