Abstract

Insect systematics is a vast field, given their considerable number, new species are discovered every day all over the world. In our country, entomologist specialists are few in number and have a long way to go. This study focuses on the inventory of some groups of arthropods and their steppe ecology, specifically in the region of Moudjbara located east of the city of Djelfa, aleppo pine reforestation within the Green Dam, which itself is a green belt designed since the early 1970s as part of the program to combat desertification in the middle of the Algerian steppe, have become new ecosystems in their own right. Their evaluation has become a necessity. To this end, permanent monitoring stations have been installed by the National Institute of Forestry Research for over ten years. The tool for this evaluation is arthropod ecology; many of them are excellent ecological indicators and have short life cycles. The study method consists of sampling arthropods using Barber pots over a one-year period at three selected stations in the Moudjbara region. The results obtained show the presence of 13023 individuals distributed in 53 species including 15 species of Hymenoptera with 90.08%, 11 species of Diptera (6.10%) and 27 species of Various orders (3.82%). The calculation of the Shannon diversity index, in the three stations, has an average of 1,60 bits. The soil is calcareous with 13.01%, with an organic matter rate of 2.59%. Similarity dendrograms between stations revealed the proximity of the Moudjbara 1 and Moudjbara 3, and the distance of the Moudjbara 2 station, for Hymenoptera (Formicidae), which are mostly walking arthropods. This result could be explained by the separation of the Moudjbara 1 and Moudjbara 3 from the Moudjbara 2 station, by the national road, which is quite busy, it would constitute an obstacle between the stations.
