Abstract
Abstract : This study aims to highlight the role of the food industry in achieving food security in light of the transformation of the green economy, so that this study addressed the most basic concepts of the green economy, its requirements, concepts of the food industry, and food security. One of the most important results is that Algeria still faces food deficits due to the lack of optimal exploitation of resources, the lack of technologies used, and insufficient financing. Consequently, Governments, including Algeria, should attach greater emphasis on this issue, as the prosperity of nations and societies is closely linked to achieving food security
