الملخص
هو أحد أبرز رواد النهضة الفكرية والإصلاحية في الجزائر في القرن العشرين، وعُرف بدوره الكبير في مقاومة الاستدمار الفرنسي ثقافيًا ودينيًا، من خلال إحياء الهوية الإسلامية والعربية للشعب الجزائري،ودعوته إلى التمسك بالهوية الإسلامية والعربية للجزائر، رافضًا الذوبان في الثقافة الفرنسية وعمل جاهدا على تأسيس جمعية العلماء المسلمين . He is one of the most prominent pioneers of the intellectual and reformist renaissance in Algeria in the twentieth century. He is known for his significant role in resisting French colonialism, both culturally and religiously, by reviving the Islamic and Arab identity of the Algerian people. He called for adherence to Algeria's Islamic and Arab identity, refusing assimilation into French culture. He worked tirelessly to establish the Association of Muslim Scholars. Résumé Il est l’un des pionniers les plus éminents de la renaissance intellectuelle et réformiste en Algérie au XXe siècle. Il est connu pour son rôle majeur dans la résistance au colonialisme français, culturellement et religieusement, en ravivant l'identité islamique et arabe du peuple algérien, et son appel à adhérer à l'identité islamique et arabe de l'Algérie, refusant de s'assimiler à la culture française. Il a travaillé dur pour établir l’Association des érudits musulmans.
