الملخص
تعتبر المدن الجزائرية أوساطا حضرية تتعدد فيها الظواهر التي تهدد كياناتها، وذلك لطبيعتها المركبة والمعقدة، نذكر منها ظاهرة الجريمة التي تنتشر في مختلف مدن العالم والتي تسعى لمحاربتها والتقليل منها، ومن بينها مدينة باتنة التي تشهد هذه الظاهرة، وتسعى إلى مكافحتها بشتى الطرق والوسائل ومختلف الأجهزة الأمنية، كجهاز الشرطة الذي يمكن أن يساهم عن طريق تدخلاته المستمرة الوقائية والردعية في التقليل منها، ومن خلال هذه الورقة البحثية يمكن إبراز دور الشرطة في مكافحة هذه الظاهرة التي تهدد أمن وسلامة المجتمعات خاصة في الأوساط الحضرية المركبة والمعقدة التي تتسم بتباين الثقافات وتعدد الأجناس، والحجم الكبير للسكان، الشيء الذي يعرقل ويصعب من مكافحة هذه الظاهرة الخطيرة. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى ما يلي: - بروز أهمية ودور الشرطة بمدينة باتنة في مكافحة الجريمة وقائيا وردعيا. - ضرورة مشاركة كل أفراد المجتمع في مكافحة الجريمة. - تفعيل مؤسسات التنشئة الاجتماعية، والإعلام للتخفيف من الجرائم. Algerian cities face numerous challenges to their stability, often influenced by their complex and multifaceted nature. Among these challenges is crime, a widespread issue in urban areas globally, and one that requires constant efforts to address. The city of Batna, like many others, is not immune to this problem. To combat crime, Batna employs various strategies and relies heavily on its security apparatuses, particularly the police force, which plays a vital role. By implementing ongoing preventive and deterrent measures, the police help to curb criminal activities and enhance community safety.This study explores the critical role of the police in addressing crime, a persistent threat to public safety and societal stability. It also considers the unique challenges posed by Batna's urban context, including its cultural diversity, ethnic variety, and high population density-factors that often complicate efforts to combat crime effectively. :The study concluded the following -The police in Batna hold a central position in crime prevention and deterrence, making their role indispensable. -The active participation of society as a whole is essential in tackling crime and fostering a safer environment. -Social institutions and media play an influential role in reducing crime by promoting positive societal values and awareness.
