Social Reintegration Of Prisoners In Algerian Penal Policy

Abstract
The process of social reintegration of prisoners is to provide them with appropriate support to prepare them to return to society after serving their sentence. However, detainee who has spent a long time in detention and is accustomed to a certain pattern within the Penal Institution, finds himself after his release facing many and manifold difficulties that prevent him from being reintegrated, including the lack of acceptance by society due to the stigma of “imprisoned” that accompanies him, and the fear of everyone around him of his possible actions, and sometimes he finds himself rejected even by his family with all the psychological problems associated with that. Also, a released detainee may face a difficulty to find a job, finding friends or an environment that encourages him to live an honest life, which may push him, in many cases, to return to crime again after failing to integrate into society. إن عملية إعادة الادماج الاجتماعي للمحبوسين تتم عن طريق تزويدهم بالدعم المناسب لإعدادهم للحياة الاجتماعية بعد قضاء مدة عقوبتهم، ومرافقتهم بعد خروجهم. إلا أن ذلك ليس بالأمر الهين، فإن المحبوس الذي قضى فترة طويلة في المؤسسة العقابية واعتاد على نمط معين داخلها، يجد نفسه بعد إطلاق سراحه أمام العديد من الصعوبات والتحديات التي تحول دون إعادة إدماجه بشكل صحيح. فقد يواجه رفض المجتمع له بسبب وصمة "السجن" التي ترافقه، وتخوف كل من حوله من تصرفاته المحتملة، وأحيانا يجد نفسه مرفوضا حتى من قبل أسرته مع كل المشاكل النفسية المرتبطة بذلك. إذ غالبا ما يجد المفرج عنهم صعوبات في العثور على وظيفة أو العثور على أصدقاء، أو بيئة تشجعهم على أن يعيشوا حياة نزيهة، مما قد يدفعهم، في كثير من الحالات إلى العودة إلى الجريمة مرة أخرى بعد فشلهم في الاندماج في المجتمع مما يستوجب برامج مرافقة ومتابعة لهذه الفئة. Le processus de réinsertion sociale des détenus se fait à travers un soutien adéquat pour les préparer à la vie sociale après avoir purgé leur peine. Bien que ce n’est pas chose facile ; le détenu qui a passé beaucoup de temps dans l'établissement pénitentiaire et s'est habitué à un certain mode de vie carcéral, se retrouve après sa libération confrontée à de multiples difficultés qui risquent d'empêcher sa réintégration. Il se voit généralement confronté au rejet de la société en raison de la stigmatisation de la "prison" qui l'accompagne tout le long de son parcours, et la peur de ses réactions possibles et imprévisibles. Les prisonniers libérés ont souvent du mal à trouver un emploi, des amis ou un environnement qui les encourage à mener une vie normale, ce qui peut les amener, dans de nombreux cas, à récidiver.
