The Mediator Of The Republic : Huge Mission Hostige To A Weak Legal Status

Abstract
The mediator of the republic is has a major mission of mediation between the citizen and his administration it appeared for the first time in Algeria in 1996 with the arrival of the former president Liamine Zeroual , to be abandoned in 1999 with the arrival of the departed President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, then to reappear again in 2020 with the arrival of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune . However, it is noticeable that the legal status of this institution both in its organic and functional aspects is still weak compared to the huge mission entrusted to him and his local delegates, in addition to the continued refusal to constitutionalize this body, which makes its fate dependent on the arrival and departure of personalities .
