The convergence of communication advancements with the political and economic expansions of globalization has made information and knowledge key factors in organizational management. This development has led to the emergence of "economic intelligence" as a crucial tool for proactive organizational and strategic decision-making. The intense competitiveness driven by market liberalization has challenged national territories to enhance their competitiveness within clear legislative frameworks to ensure adequate development and improved visibility. These transformations have given rise to the concept of territorial economic intelligence, which functions as both a key process and a multidisciplinary notion. Despite its evident importance, this concept is still in the process of seeking legitimization, particularly within the field of communication studies.
