The road traffic study in Djelfa highlights serious congestion issues, especially during peak hours, with the highest traffic on NR 46 toward Boussaâda. Light vehicles dominate the modal split, making up over 74% of road usage. Roads entering the city are more saturated than those exiting, with some reaching over 80% saturation. The estimated daily effective traffic is around 52,050 UVP, and full saturation is projected by 2049. This is why we need theenhancing public transport, improving infrastructure, and decentralizing services to alleviate urban congestion.
