Determinants Of Economic Growth In Algeria Outside Of Hydrocarbon Prices During The Period 2000-2022

Abstract

This paper seeks to identify the main determinants influencing economic growth in Algeria, excluding hydrocarbon prices during the period 2000-2022, using four different methods: regression, relative importance, general dominance analysis and random forest algorithm. The study results indicate that the Human Developing Index is the main determinant of the Algerian economic growth.
