Environmental Management System, Introduction To Improve Environmental Performance: A Case Study Of Scaek, Setif

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to illustrate how the Environmental Management System (EMS) helps the Cement Company Ain El Kabira Setif (SCAEK)improve its environmental performance in terms of waste, energy use, and dust emission control. Interpreting the numerous concepts and analyzing the various data and statistics gathered for the applied study are done using the descriptive approach. According to the study's findings, EMS adoption improves environmental performance by minimizing and treating waste, regulating emissions, and rationalizing energy use.
