الملخص: إنّ القراءة ليست مجرد سلوك تتتبع فيه العينان حروفا و كلمات و جملا سطّرت على بياض ورقة ، و تلفّظ بها اللسان ،ووعاها العقل، إنّما أبعادها تمتد عبر أجيال و حضارات أمم ، أدركت قيمة العناية بالكتاب و تنشئة الطفل من الصغر على حب هذه الوسيلة التثقيفية التربوية ،و الاهتمام بما تحويه بين دفتيها لتطوير الذات و المجتمع و بناء مستقبله، من خلال كشف أسراره و العبور بين سطوره إلى أفكار صاحبه لنقدها أو لتثمينها و إثرائها، و والماسك على كتاب بين يديه في عصرنا هذا ليقرأه - في ظل الوسائط الرقمية - كالماسك على الجوهر. . ,abstract Reading is not merely a behavior in which the eyes track letters, words, and sentences inscribed on a blank page, articulated by the tongue, and comprehended by the mind. Its dimensions extend across generations and the civilizations of nations that recognized the value of caring for books and nurturing children from a young age to love this educational and cultural medium. It involves paying attention to what lies between its covers to develop oneself and society and to build the future by uncovering its secrets and traversing its lines to critique or appreciate and enrich the ideas of its author. Holding a book in one's hands in our era, amidst digital media, is akin to holding a gem.
