الملخص

استقطبت الأمثال الشعبية الجزائرية اهتمام الاستشراق الفرنسي لعدة عوامل رئيسية، حيث اعتُبرت مصدرًا غنيًا للمعرفة الثقافية، إذ تعكس قيم ومعتقدات الشعب الجزائري بطريقة بسيطة وسهلة الفهم، مما جعلها أداة فعّالة لفهم طريقة تفكير الأفراد وتفاعلهم مع الحياة. كما أن الأمثال تكشف عن الحالة النفسية والمشاعر الجمعية للمجتمع، مما يساعد المستشرقين على دراسة الأبعاد النفسية والاجتماعية للمجتمع الجزائري. من جهة أخرى، كانت الأمثال وسيلة لدراسة التغيرات الاجتماعية والسياسية، حيث تعبّر عن ردود فعل الشعب تجاه الأحداث والمتغيرات. إضافة إلى ذلك، كانت الأمثال بمثابة أداة للتأثير الاجتماعي والسياسي، تعكس مواقف غير مباشرة تجاه السلطات أو الأوضاع الراهنة. وأخيرًا، عمل المستشرقون على جمع وتوثيق هذه الأمثال كجزء من الثقافة الشعبية، بهدف الحفاظ عليها ودراستها لمعرفة تفاصيل الحياة اليومية والرمزية في المجتمع الجزائري. Algerian proverbs attracted the attention of French Orientalists for several key reasons. They were considered a rich source of cultural knowledge, reflecting the values and beliefs of the Algerian people in a simple and easily understandable way, making them an effective tool for understanding the way individuals think and interact with life. Proverbs also reveal the psychological state and collective feelings of the society, helping Orientalists study the psychological and social dimensions of Algerian society. On the other hand, proverbs served as a means to study social and political changes, expressing the people's reactions to events and transformations. Furthermore, proverbs were an instrument of social and political influence, reflecting indirect attitudes toward the authorities or the prevailing situations. Finally, Orientalists worked on collecting and documenting these proverbs as part of popular culture, with the aim of preserving and studying them to understand the details of daily life and symbolism in Algerian society.
