The 5m Method As A Tool For Enhancing Hospital Risk Management And Patient Safety

الملخص
This research aims to highlight the importance of (5M) method in reducing risks and finding solutions to the problems faced by MEFTAH hospital. To address this issue, we adopted a descriptive approach to present the literature of the study, in which we discussed various concepts related to the study variables. To carry out the practical aspect, we conducted an interview with the hospital's administrative staff and applied the risk management method. As a results we reached through this study is that there are risks with a criticality index reaching 20. As recommendations for the study, a strong risk management system should be established, based on the application of various risk management methods, and it is necessary to conduct training courses in the field of risk management to mitigate them, as well as to improve the quality of services provided by the hospital.
