Abstract This article aims to highlight the significance of the virtue of modesty and its impact on preserving the purpose of the mission of Prophet Mohamed peace be upon him in perfecting noble morals. It addresses the following question: What are the objectives behind adopting the virtue of modesty? The research will be conducted using the inductive, descriptive, analytical, and deductive methodology, and it is structured into two main sections. The first section explains the meaning and status of modesty in Islamic law, while the second section discusses the objectives of modesty. The research concludes that modesty is one of the most important components of human behavior that elevates a Muslim individual and achieves three essential objectives: a faith-based objective, a legislative objective, and an educational objective. Faith and modesty are intertwined; if one is removed, the other is also removed. The legislative objective is achieved by the individual's awareness of God's presence and surveillance, leading to modesty before Him. The educational objective is achieved by maintaining a sound nature through self-control, avoiding immoral acts, and staying away from vices and prohibitions, as approaching them is not befitting of a person of integrity.
