الملخص

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على الآليات التقنية المستعملة في تحويل مسرحية عطيل لشكسبير إلى الفيلم السينمائي Othello لأوليفر باركر، لأجل ذلك اختارت الدراسة استخدام منهج مقارن لإبراز ميكانيزمات الأفلمة التي تجلّت في ايجاد المكافئات البصرية (اللقطات) للجُمل الحوارية (المسرحية) أي النقل من النص الدرامي للمسرحية إلى الفيلم السينمائي. و توصلت الدراسة إلى أن المعالجة السينمائية للمسرحية أعطتها عمقاً درامياً مختلفاً و ايقاعاً سردياً يزيد من إثارة و تشويق المتلقي. تتميز الدراسة بكونها تقدم تحليلًا بصريًا يُبرز القيمة الإبداعية لعملية الانتقال من النص الدرامي للمسرحية إلى السرد السينمائي حيث تُوضح كيف يمكن للأدوات السينمائية أن تُضيف عمقًا وإثارة يتجاوزان حدود النص التقليدي. Abstract: This study aims to shed light on the technical mechanisms employed in adapting Shakespeare's play Othello into Oliver Parker's film adaptation, Othello. To achieve this, the study adopts a comparative approach to highlight the cinematic mechanisms used, particularly in creating visual equivalents (shots) for the dialogue (dramatic text), effectively transitioning from the dramatic text of play to the cinematic medium. The study concludes that the cinematic treatment of the play provided it with a different dramatic depth and a narrative rhythm that enhances the viewer's engagement and excitement. What sets this study apart is its focus on visual analysis, emphasizing the creative value of the transition from theatrical writing to cinematic storytelling. It illustrates how cinematic tools can add depth and excitement that transcend the limits of traditional text.
