ملخص : يدور هذا البحث حول موقع ذو تكوين طبيعي يكتسي قيمة تاريخية وأثريّة، بما أبرزته المصادر الإيبيغرافية المنقوشة على جدرانه، على أنّ الحكّام المنتتخبون وبوجه الخصوص طبقة الماجيسترا من دوتينس (Dothenses) وتيبيليس (Thibilis)، كانوا يقومون بتبجيل معبود محلي يعرف بـ: بكاكس داخل مغارة جبل الطاية المنتصب في الجهة الشمالية الغربية من ولاية قالمة. الذي سوف نتطرّق إلى هويّته عبر تحليل محتوى النقيشات اللاتينية المنجزة على شرفه تحليلا علميا بمقاربة إثنوغرافية ساعدتنا في تحديد طبيعته. Abstract: This research is structured around a site resulting from a natural formation which has historical and archaeological value, as indicated by the epigraphic sources engraved on its walls, which local elected officials, in particular the class of magistrates of Dothenses and Thibilis, worshiped a local deity known as Bacax inside the cave of Djebel Taya in the northwestern part of Guelma. Of which we will discuss his identity by scientifically analyzing the content of the Latin inscriptions engraved in his honor with an ethnographic approach in order to determine its nature.
