Abstract: This research addresses the long-term impact of war on employment contracts, focusing on the case of Gaza, affected by the ongoing Israeli aggression. The study aims to clarify how labor and contractual relationships between employers and workers are affected under the extraordinary conditions imposed by wars. It explores the rights and obligations of both workers and employers during wars, analyzing the applicability of the force majeure and hardship doctrines in this context. The research concludes that war can lead to the suspension or termination of labor contracts without liability on either party.
