It aims to analyze the extent of the contribution of civil society and its role in combating corruption in the two countries, and to identify the constraints that hinder its activity. This study concluded with a result, indicating that its activity in Kenya and Uganda did not achieve the desired results in combating corruption because civil society organizations in the two countries lack independence, and they suffer from repression, marginalization, and other restrictions.
