The Standard Discharge Summary And The Synthetic Activity Index In Algerian Clinics

Abstract
This study aims to know the role of using standard discharge summary and synthetic activity index to improve the quality of healthcare services, also in declaring patients. To answer the problem posed, the descriptive approach was used, which allowed us to collect information and analyze them according to the requirements of the study. The study reached a number of results the most important of which is that the use of these tools allows improving communication, ensuring continuity of care, and enhances the quality of services and patient safety outcomes; also, they can greatly improve the efficiency and keep costs under control.
