The Algerian Review of Financial & Banking Studies (ARFBS) is an international, peer-reviewed, semiannual, Open Access scientific journal published by Ferhat Abbas University Sétif 1, Algeria. The journal follows the Double-Blind Peer Review process and is committed to publishing original, high-quality research in the broad fields of banking, finance, and economics, including both theoretical and applied studies.

ARFBS welcomes submissions from academics, researchers, doctoral candidates, and research teams affiliated with universities, higher education institutions, and research centers from Algeria and around the world. The journal provides a platform for disseminating innovative research, promoting scientific excellence, and fostering academic exchange among scholars and practitioners.

The journal aims to advance knowledge in banking and financial studies by publishing rigorous, relevant, and timely research that contributes to both academic development and professional practice. It is committed to maintaining the highest standards of research integrity, publication ethics, and scientific quality.

ARFBS provides immediate and unrestricted Open Access to all published content, based on the principle that free access to scientific research promotes the global exchange of knowledge and enhances the visibility and impact of scholarly work.

The journal publishes manuscripts in Arabic, English, and French. All submissions must include a title, abstract, and keywords in the language of the manuscript, as well as a title, abstract, and keywords in English, in accordance with the journal's author guidelines.

Open Access Policy:

The Algerian Journal of Financial and Banking Studies (ARFBS) is a fully Open Access journal. All articles are freely and permanently accessible immediately upon publication without subscription or registration fees.

The journal believes that unrestricted access to scientific knowledge promotes the dissemination of research, enhances academic collaboration, and increases the visibility and impact of scholarly work worldwide.

Readers are free to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full texts of published articles, provided that proper citation is given to the original publication

Peer Review Process:

ARFBS adopts a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review system to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific validity of all published manuscripts.

Each submitted manuscript undergoes the following stages:

  • Initial editorial screening to verify compliance with the journal's scope and submission requirements.
  • Similarity screening using plagiarism detection software.
  • Double-blind review by at least two independent experts.
  • Editorial decision based on reviewers' reports.
  • Revision by the author(s), where required.
  • Final acceptance and publication.

The identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.

 

Submission Process:

Authors wishing to publish in the Algerian Journal of Financial and Banking Studies (ARFBS) should follow the steps below:

  1. Registration: Create a personal account on the Algerian Scientific Journals Platform (ASJP) at: https://asjp.cerist.dz/en/login
  2. Access the Journal: Visit the official ARFBS page on the ASJP platform.
  3. Prepare the Manuscript: Prepare the manuscript using the journal's official template, available under Instructions for Authors, and save it in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  4. Submit the Manuscript: Click the "Paper Submission" icon and complete all required submission information.
  5. Submission Confirmation and Tracking: The corresponding author will receive an automatic confirmation email and may track the manuscript throughout the editorial and peer-review process via their ASJP account.

Notes:

  • Submitted manuscripts must comply with the journal's Author Guidelines and Publication Ethics.
  • The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to request formatting or language revisions to accepted manuscripts without altering their scientific content.
  • Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal's ethical standards or publication policies may be rejected at any stage of the editorial process.
  • The opinions expressed in published articles are solely those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Editorial Board or the Publisher.
