بمناسبة مرور خمسة وستون سنة على استقلال الجزائر، تعتزم مجلة "مدينة ومجتمع" إصدار عدد خاص تتناول فيه المحطات الكبرى لتطور المدينة الجزائرية قبل وبعد الاستقلال، كما تقف في هذا العدد عند مختلف الانجازات والتطورات والإشكالات، في ظل التغيرات المورفولوجية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية والسياسية التي عرفتها بعد الاستقلال تحديدا، عبر مقاربات متعددة الاختصاصات تشكل في النهاية حوصلة موضوعية برؤى مختلفة تساعدنا من دون شك على التحليل والفهم الجيد لواقع المدينة الجزائرية.
وفي هذا الإطار نطرح جملة من المحاور قد تساعد الباحثين على الانخراط في هذا المشروع الهام وهي:

A l'occasion du 65ème anniversaire de l'indépendance de l'Algérie notre revue "Ville&Société" entend publier un numéro spécial dans lequel, sera traiter les grandes étapes du développement de la ville algérienne avant et après l'indépendance. Il sera question aussi dans ce numéro de discuter des différentes évolutions et problématiques qu'elle a connues, compte tenu des changements morphologiques, sociaux, économiques et politiques notamment après l’indépendance, à travers des approches pluridisciplinaires qui constitueront en fin de compte une synthèse objective à visions multiples susceptibles de nous aider à bien analyser et comprendre la réalité de la ville algérienne.
Dans ce contexte, nous présentons un certain nombre de thèmes qui peuvent aider les chercheurs à s'engager dans cet important projet, à savoir ;

On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of Algeria’s independence, our journal Ville&Société intends to publish a special issue examining the major stages in the development of the Algerian city before and after independence. This issue will also discuss the various transformations and problems it has experienced, in light of morphological, social, economic and political changes, particularly after independence, through multidisciplinary approaches that will ultimately constitute an objective synthesis with multiple perspectives, likely to help us properly analyse and understand the reality of the Algerian city.
In this context, we present a number of themes that may help researchers engage in this important project, namely:
