المخلفات الصلبة ومخاطر التلوث البيئي في مدينة روصو (موريتانيا)

يشكل موضوع المخلفات الصلبة أحد أبرز التحديات البيئية التي تواجه مدينة روصو، لما له من انعكاسات مباشرة على صحة السكان وجودة المجال الحضري. ويتناول هذا البحث إشكالية المخلفات الصلبة في روصو من خلال تحليل مصادرها (المنزلية، والأسواق والأنشطة الزراعية)، وتوزيعها، وأساليب تدبيرها الحالية، كما يسلط الضوء على المخاطر البيئية الناجمة عنها. واعتمد البحث المنهج الوصفي ـ التحليلي لتحديد مصادر إنتاج وتوزيع المخلفات الصلبة في مدينة روصو، وتحليل وتفسير العلاقة بين تراكم المخلفات الصلبة والمتغيرات البيئية والصحية والاجتماعية. وأظهرت النتائج أن ضعف البينية التحتية، وغياب الفرز وإعادة التدوير ونقص الوعي البيئي، عوامل تفاقم من حدة المشكلة ... ويوصي البحث باعتماد مقاربة متكاملة تقوم على التدبير البيئي المستدام، وتعزيز دور البلدية، وتفعيل الشراكات المجتمعية، وتنفيذ استراتيجيات الحد من المخلفات وإعادة تدويرها حفاظا على البيئة الحضرية وتحقيقا للتنمية المستدامة في المدينة. The issue of solid waste constitutes one of the most pressing environmental challenges facing the city of Rosso, given its direct repercussions on public health and the quality of the urban environment. This study examines the problem of solid waste in Rosso through an analysis of its main sources (household waste, market waste, and agricultural activities), its spatial distribution, and the current management practices in place. It also highlights the environmental risks resulting from inadequate waste handling and accumulation. The research adopts a descriptive–analytical approach to identify the sources and spatial patterns of solid waste generation in the city and to analyze and interpret the relationship between waste accumulation and environmental, health, and socio-economic variables. The findings reveal that insufficient infrastructure, the absence of waste sorting and recycling systems, and limited environmental awareness significantly exacerbate the severity of the problem. The study recommends the adoption of an integrated approach based on sustainable environmental management, strengthening the role of the municipality, activating community partnerships, and implementing waste reduction and recycling strategies in order to preserve the urban environment and promote sustainable development in the city.
