من خلال هذه الدراسة، نسعى إلى استكشاف تمثلات الفضاء الإيكولوجي في رواية "براد أتاي"؛ والمعنى ذاته يتجسد في الكشف عن آليات التكيف التي انتهجتها المجتمعات الصحراوية لمواكبة مختلف الأزمات الإيكولوجية. وأهم ما خلصت إليه هذه الدراسة هو أن الفضاء الإيكولوجي في رواية "براد أتاي" ليس عبارة عن مكان تجري فيه الأحداث فحسب، بل هو عامل مهم يتدخل بشكل كبير في توجيه سلوكيات الأفراد وتحديدها؛ إذ يؤثر فيهم، وفي المقابل يؤثرون في ذلك الفضاء من خلال جملة من آليات التكيف التي استحدثوها لمواجهة مختلف الأزمات. This study investigates the representation of ecological space in the novel Brad Atay from an ecocritical perspective. It examines the adaptive mechanisms developed by Saharan communities to cope with various environmental crises. The analysis reveals that ecological space is not merely the setting in which the narrative unfolds; rather, it plays a fundamental role in shaping individual behaviour. At the same time, the inhabitants influence this space through adaptive mechanisms developed to confront environmental challenges, highlighting the reciprocal relationship between human communities and their environmen
