Our research paper aims to uncover the psychological characteristics of cybercriminals through a case study of a Facebook and Instagram account hacker. We adopted an appropriate clinical approach for an in-depth case study and used Rorschach's projective test to understand the psychological dynamics and identify the psychological characteristics associated with cybercriminal behavior. The results showed an inability to express emotions, along with narcissistic traits such as attention-seeking. The condition was also characterized by an ability to analyze and synthesize, a lack of fantasy life, and an absence of imagination, along with the use of rationalization and strict monitoring of emotions, along with the use of a defensive mechanism, which is repression, especially the repression of aggression, in addition to the presence of indicators of psychosomatic structure
