Abstract: This study investigates the impact of the social auditing mission across its compliance, effectiveness, and strategic dimensions on enhancing employee performance evaluation methods within SONELGAZ Group enterprises. Using a purposive sample of auditors, HR managers, and supervisors, data were collected via a structured Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through appropriate statistical techniques. The findings indicate a high level of adoption of social auditing at the compliance and effectiveness levels, and a moderate level at the strategic level. Employee performance evaluation methods were also found to be moderately implemented, suggesting room for improvement. Furthermore, a moderate positive relationship was identified between social auditing and performance evaluation practices, with all hypotheses confirmed, demonstrating a significant effect of the former on the latter. The study recommends institutionalizing and generalizing social auditing practices, strengthening collaboration with academic institutions, and mandating their implementation to enhance HR management effectiveness and support informed organizational decision making.
