This study examines the "Digital Trend" phenomenon in Algeria and its role in reshaping the public agenda. Utilizing the descriptive-analytical method and Digital Agenda-Setting Theory, it investigates how algorithms and digital actors produce viral content. The findings reveal that "Trends" have become strategic actors challenging traditional media gatekeeping, serving as powerful tools for popular accountability while simultaneously contributing to the systemic shallowing of collective consciousness. Furthermore, the study highlights how these digital currents strategically re-engineer the mental images of the Algerian audience by prioritizing emotional engagement over factual depth in the virtual public sphere.
