:Abstract This study aims to examine how the principle of maṭlūb al-amr is addressed from both uṣūlī and maqāṣidī perspectives. It explores how al-amr (command) fluctuates between its aṣālat al-wujūb—intended to achieve jalb al-maṣāliḥ and dafʿ al-mafāsid—and between its related objects, which are divided into various categories. Each category carries a specific maqāṣid impact identified by the mujtahid through a set of qawāʿid al-istinbāṭ al-uṣūlī. The study also highlights the close relationship between the legislative interconnectedness of obligations and the realization of their intended maqāṣid al-sharīʿa at the levels of ḍarūriyyāt, ḥājiyyāt, and taḥsīniyyāt. Furthermore, the research indicates that the emergence of al-juzʾiyyah within Sharīʿa-based obligations—derived from the principle of command—is rooted in their original legislation. Consequently, these obligations occupy a prominent position among aḥkām ṭalabiyyah, serving the interests for which they were established.
