يعد الدعم السعودي للقضية الجزائرية أحد الموضوعات التي لم تحض بالدراسة الوافية، وتكمن أهمية الدور السعودي في مكانتها الدولية آنذاك كواحدة من البلدان العربية القليلة التي سخرت إمكانياتها الدبلوماسية في تقديم يد العون للجزائريين الذين كانوا يخوضون صراحا مريرا مع إحدى أعتى القوى الاستعمارية، وقد تعزز هذا التوجه عندما لاحت بشائر النصر وبدأت جولات المفاوضات الجزائرية الفرنسية، إذ رافقت المملكة هذه الجولات عبر رئيس وفدها في الأمم المتحدة، وهذا ما تعالجه هذه الورقة البحثية. Saudi support for the Algerian cause is one of the topics that has not received sufficient scholarly study. The importance of the Saudi role lies in its international standing at the time as one of the few Arab countries that devoted its diplomatic capacities to extending a helping hand to the Algerians, who were engaged in a bitter struggle against one of the most powerful colonial powers. This orientation was further strengthened when the signs of victory began to appear and the rounds of Algerian-French negotiations started, which the Kingdom followed closely through the head of its delegation at the United Nations, and this is what the present research paper examines
